About

An academic economist in my “day job”, I have been going off to far-flung, off-the beaten track places since the tender age of 17 (travelling through China and returning to Europe on the Trans-Siberian just before the fall of the Soviet Union). Since then, my travels have taken me through most of Europe and Asia, as well as to North, Central and South America, Africa and Australia. On all these travels, a camera has never been far from my side.

I am particularly interested in landscape and wildlife photography, although recently I have also started to dabble in videos and underwater photography.

Many of my images are available as stock photos from various agencies and have been used in various publications. In addition, I have worked on a number of commissions and am always happy to take on new assignments.
